Return to Nara: The nature trek

Early friday morning, we left the cozy confines of our apartment to spend the day in Nara. Nara is know for it's ancient temple, Todaiji, home to Daibutsu(great buddha).
When we got there, we decided to take a hike in the mountains to search for a small water fall that was deep inside.
Here are a few clips from our nature walk.

Wow, simply amazing to see a Japanese forest! They must set this land aside as land for preservation similar to North American national parks. We had thanksgiving dinner with the parents last weekend guys! Missed having you there and we wondered if you celebrated some small thanksgiving on your own :)
